Direct contact

WordPress & Next.js — you choose what fits

Marketing site with WordPress & Elementor, custom web app with Next.js and Supabase, or both combined: a fast marketing site plus your own employee or customer dashboard. All from one source, all cleanly documented.

Direct line instead of an account-manager chain

You talk directly to me — the developer who writes the code. No agency layer, no briefing losses. Calls, WhatsApp, short Loom videos — we do it whatever way is fastest for you.

What Zurich clients get at The Freelancer Marketing

  • Modern websites with Next.js, React and TypeScript — or WordPress, if you want to maintain it yourself
  • Custom dashboards: CRM, employee portal, customer area — with Supabase or Firebase
  • Google Ads analysis tool that shows you where your ad budget actually goes
  • Technical SEO & Core Web Vitals — so your Zurich customers can find you
  • Hosting, maintenance and support after launch — directly with the developer who built it
  • Fair fixed prices, clear communication — 5.0★ reviews on Google

What I actually build for Zurich clients

Three typical project sizes I deliver for freelancers, SMEs and startups in and around Zurich — all with the same promise: directly with the developer, fair fixed price, clean code.

Whether you need a WordPress marketing site, a custom Next.js dashboard or the combination of both — you get them from one source. No subcontractor, no outsourced development.

My Zurich clients range from security services to financial advisors to SaaS founders — the common factor is not the industry, but that they want a contact who still knows their website after launch and replies within 24 hours.

WordPress
Marketing site for SMEs

Performant WordPress site with Elementor — you maintain content yourself, I handle design, setup, SEO and hosting. Ideal for security services, craftsmen, consultancies, restaurants and anyone who needs a serious online presence without touching code.

Example: ST-Sicherheitsdienst, Erica Müller
Next.js
Web app or landing page

Custom Next.js application with React, TypeScript and Supabase. For startups that need something custom: an employee portal, a booking system, an internal tool, a landing page that actually performs — all with a dedicated backend.

Example: Creditvia, employee dashboards
Combo
Marketing site + dashboard

The most popular setup: fast WordPress marketing site for SEO and lead gen, plus a dedicated Next.js dashboard for customers, employees or internal workflows. Two worlds cleanly connected, both from one source, both with optional support contract.

Example: Elisabeth Schröder, Erica Müller
[ Services for Zurich ]

Everything from one source — directly with the developer

Nine services, one contact. Whether you need a pure marketing site, a complex web app or the combination of both — you talk directly to me, no account manager in between.

Four setups I often build for Zurich clients

Based on real projects from my portfolio: three web setups plus my own Google Ads tool. Your project doesn't fit exactly into one setup? No problem — we combine or build it individually.

Setup A

WordPress homepage for SMEs & freelancers

You need a serious online presence but want to maintain content yourself? I build you a performant WordPress site with Elementor — including SEO setup, FADP-compliant tracking and fast hosting. You update news, services and contact info anytime, no developer appointment needed.

Example: ST-Sicherheitsdienst
Setup B

Next.js web app with Supabase backend

You have your own idea that needs more than WordPress can deliver — a booking workflow, a customer portal, an internal tool? I develop the application in Next.js with TypeScript, Supabase as database and auth, and product-grade design. From the first wireframe to FADP-compliant live deployment.

Example: Creditvia · financial advisory
Setup C

Marketing site + employee dashboard

The most popular setup among my clients: a WordPress marketing site at the front for Google visibility and leads — behind it a tailor-made Next.js dashboard for employees, customers or internal workflows. Two worlds cleanly connected, both from one source, both with optional support contract.

Example: Elisabeth Schröder, Erica Müller
Setup D

Google Ads audit & marketing dashboard

You pay for Google Ads but don't know where your budget actually lands? I analyze your campaigns with my own tool — keyword costs, quality score, conversion paths — and give you a clear action plan. Includes live dashboard on your domain.

How your project runs at The Freelancer Marketing

Four clear steps from first call to launch — whether WordPress marketing site, Next.js web app or combo.

01

Workshop in Kreis 1 or at Paradeplatz

We start with a two- to three-hour workshop directly at your office — whether in Kreis 1, in Kreis 4 or at Paradeplatz. Result: a jointly signed decision memo that your stakeholders can read just like the external designer.

02

Figma design at corporate-IT level

Two to four weeks of UI/UX design in Figma. Reviews happen in the same rhythm you know from your internal design sessions — including auto-layout logic, clean component library and typography discussion at detail level.

03

Sprint development at Zurich pace

Implementation in two-week sprints. You see a real preview URL every Friday, comment directly in the browser and decide what goes into the next sprint. Zurich mid-caps manage launch in four to six weeks this way.

04

Go-live on Swiss or EU hosting

Deployment to Zurich, Frankfurt or an EU data center as required. Monitoring, backup strategy and SBOM documentation are handed over to your internal IT — they can take over seamlessly, no questions from the corporate security team.

Flutter apps for Zurich banks and pharma corporations

When a Zurich banking corporation needs a companion app for its retail customers or a pharma corporation needs a study app for its research teams, Flutter comes into play. One codebase, two platforms, one UX logic — for Zurich corporate clients that saves six-figure CHF budgets compared to two native teams.

Our Zurich Flutter projects range from a banking app for a UBS subsidiary at Bahnhofstrasse to a wallet app for a Crypto Valley provider from Zug to a pitch demo for a Series A candidate from the ETH spin-off cluster. We know the App Store compliance hurdles that come with a corporate brand presence — and deliver builds that pass internal security reviews.

01

Banking and wallet apps

Banking, wallet and crypto apps for Zurich financial corporations with Avaloq/Finnova integration, offline mode and corporate SSO.

02

FADP-compliant pharma apps

Mobile study and research apps for Zurich pharma corporations — FADP- and GDPR-ready, with records of processing and audit trail.

03

Spin-off MVPs in 6 weeks

Pitch- and investor-ready build for ETH Zurich spin-offs — TestFlight, Play Console and App Store listing included.

Where Zurich CPCs explode

Ad auctions around Bahnhofstrasse, Paradeplatz and Crypto Valley are more expensive than the Swiss average.

A Quality Score of 7+ can reduce Zurich CPC by up to 40 % — provided the landing page matches Zurich search behavior.

Conversion tracking for Zurich B2B cycles

B2B leads from Zurich often take 8–14 weeks to close — last-click tracking is misleading here.

Geo-targeting for greater Zurich

Does your targeting really reach Zug, Winterthur and Wallisellen? Or are you burning budget in Bern?

[ Frequently asked questions ]

What Zurich clients ask us most often before the project

What experience do you have with Zurich banking and pharma clients?+
We've delivered design projects for banks at Bahnhofstrasse, a pharma corporation in Schlieren and several ETH Zurich spin-offs. Concretely that means: we know the requirements that corporations like UBS, Swiss Re and Roche have for web frontends, the expectations for design reviews with internal brand departments and the specific compliance topics around FINMA supervision and the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP).
How do you handle data protection, FADP and corporate IT in Switzerland?+
With Zurich banks, insurers and pharma corporations, we work with data protection and IT security from the first workshop, in line with the revised Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and — where there is an EU connection — also with GDPR. Cookie consent, records of processing, data processing agreements, FINMA-compliant minimum requirements for banks and SBOM documentation are part of design sprints. Hosting runs by default in Zurich or a Swiss data center, on-premise within corporate infrastructure if required.
How quickly can a marketing site for a Zurich startup go live?+
For a Zurich startup, we plan four to six weeks for a complete German-English marketing site including pricing page, demo form and careers section. If a pitch is coming up (e.g. at the Swiss Economic Forum, the Crypto Valley Summit or venture kick), we prioritize investor-relevant pages first and push careers and blog to after funding close.
Can you help shape our SAP, Salesforce or proprietary banking platform integration?+
Yes. Many of our Zurich banking clients run SAP S/4HANA and proprietary core banking systems (Avaloq, Finnova), many tech firms Salesforce, many pharma corporations proprietary LIMS and ERP stacks. We design web frontends that dock lead forms, customer portals or reporting dashboards directly to these systems — and deliver the API documentation so your internal IT can take over without questions.
Do you work on-site in Zurich, or purely remote?+
Both. Workshops, initial design reviews and stakeholder meetings happen on-site in Zurich — usually at client offices in Kreis 1, in Kreis 4 or at Paradeplatz. Sprint work runs remote with Figma, Loom and short Slack loops. This mix matches the Swiss expectation of reliability without losing the speed advantage of remote.
